I’ve always been interested in what makes things work. Even when I was a kid, if you gave me a gift or a toy, the one way you could tell if I liked it is if I had taken it apart. And if I had put it back together, then I probably liked it even more.
In my career as a software developer, I like to see things done in a simple, clean and professional way. I really admire the aesthetic of a well-engineered piece of code. And my admiration extends to various facets of engineering, whether it be mechanical, structural or electronic.
But ultimately, I just want to figure out how it all works, and have some fun in the process. When I grow up, I want to be a mad scientist. This is my journey. I really have no idea what I’m doing, but I will figure it out along the way.
